Building Community Together

The ISSA Building Committee plans and funds the phased development of a future community center for the India Society of Southern Arizona.

Who We Are

The ISSA Building Committee is a standing committee of the India Society of Southern Arizona (ISSA), established to plan, fundraise, and guide the phased development of a future community center. Operating independently under ISSA governance, the committee focuses on long-term planning, financial responsibility, and community engagement to support cultural, social, educational, and wellness needs.

Our Mission

A dedicated community space allows ISSA to better serve families, seniors, youth, and future generations. The planned center will support cultural gatherings, educational programs, wellness activities, community meetings, and shared spaces that strengthen connection and belonging—developed gradually as resources allow.

Our Vision

We envision a financially sustainable, community-owned campus that strengthens ISSA’s long-term stability and provides a shared space for cultural preservation, education, wellness activities, and community connection—developed responsibly and in phases.

How We Work

Our approach is intentionally phased to ensure transparency and financial discipline:

  • Land Identification & Feasibility

  • Community Review & Fundraising

  • Land Acquisition

  • Basic Infrastructure Development

  • Long-Term Facilities & Expansion

Each phase advances only after community review and financial readiness.

Our Home

Located in the heart of the community, our space welcomes kids, seniors, and adults alike.
